Ear wax is caused by a build up of dead cells, hairs and foreign material for example; dust and Cerumen (which is the natural wax produced by the glands in the ear) When a person has too much ear wax they may suffer from dulled hearing, ringing in the ear (as know as tinnitus) and Vertigo. Remedies to solve any build up of ear wax is by using ear drops or by ear irrigation. Ear irrigation is usually a pain free process, this involves squirting warm water into the ear canal to dislodge any ear wax build up.
